Home: Welcome

Supported living specialists

We all deserve the right to live independently in our own homes, to be responsible for and in charge of our own lives, and to feel safe, happy and fulfilled in all that we do. But this right is so often less a right, than a privilege – a privilege that can be denied to some people because of their socioeconomic background, social needs, unforeseen life events, physical disabilities or learning needs. This is where Status Care Services Ltd steps in.

We are domiciliary care and supported living specialists working principally with children, young adults and adults (we help adults of all ages). We provide accommodation and ongoing support for young people as they transition from the foster care system, community, care homes, and into independent life. Our service users will learn how to use household appliances such as cookers, washing machines, etc., and will engage with a maintenance and tidying regime, will be expected to cooperate with fellow housemates and support workers, and be expected to shop, cook, budget and manage their money in a responsible manner. Young persons will be expected to make and attend medical and other appointments.

We provide young people with the tools, learning and support they need to live independently as they adjust to adult life.

We also provide home care for adults and children who need healthcare support, personal care including help with bathing, cooking, cleaning and medication. As such, we recruit staff from a variety of disciplines and occupational backgrounds - from nurses to healthcare assistants, carers and social workers.
